What does the free scan check?+
It reads your page’s publicly available HTML and checks key search and page basics, robots.txt and a sitemap. It also checks Indexa and available external listing evidence. It is a starting point, not a full security, accessibility or search ranking audit.
Does “needs review” mean my business is missing?+
No. It means there is not enough reliable evidence to confirm the listing. Some directories block automated checks or require an account. We keep that separate from a verified missing or incorrect listing.
Can Indexa fix the issues for me?+
Our packages cover agreed listing updates, submissions and website changes. We first confirm access and whether your website platform supports the work. Some directories need owner verification, and publishers control approval and duplicate removal.
Do I need to buy a package to join the directory?+
No. Your Indexa listing is free. Business submissions are reviewed before publication. Existing public listings are marked Unclaimed, and owners can request a claim or correction.
Will this guarantee a higher Google ranking?+
No service can guarantee a search position. The work improves your business information and website foundations. Reports show completed work and verifiable changes, rather than promises about rankings.
